Truth
Tell the truth when dishonesty would be easier.
CHRISTIAN MEN
Being a Christian man should affect more than what you say you believe.
Faith should influence character, responsibility, relationships, service and the way a man conducts himself when nobody is watching.
Black Ace Society is a Christian men’s society built around those principles alongside genuine friendship, brotherhood, accountability, personal development and local community.
Christian identity should shape the way a man lives rather than functioning only as a label.
A Christian man will still make mistakes, struggle and fall short.
The standard is not perfection.
That can be expressed through qualities such as:
Character develops through repeated decisions rather than one impressive statement about who you want to become.
Tell the truth when dishonesty would be easier.
Take ownership of your actions instead of automatically reaching for excuses.
Be willing to listen, learn and admit when you have been wrong.
Learn to act consistently instead of relying entirely on motivation.
Do what is right even when doing so is uncomfortable or difficult.
Look for ways to become useful to other people rather than living entirely for yourself.
Faith becomes visible through the pattern of a man’s behaviour over time.
Men are not expected to grow entirely in isolation.
A man can pray alone, read alone, work alone and still benefit from having other Christians around him.
A local church provides worship, teaching, fellowship and the wider Christian community.
Trusted friends can provide encouragement, companionship and honest conversation.
Brotherhood adds shared responsibility, loyalty and a deeper commitment to one another’s progress.
Accountability provides a recurring structure for reviewing commitments and progress.
Brotherhood should mean more than applying the word “brother” to somebody you barely know.
Real brotherhood develops through repeated time together, trust, shared experience and responsibility.
A Christian brother can encourage you.
He can celebrate your progress.
He can pray with you.
And when necessary, he can tell you something difficult without treating you as an enemy.
Brotherhood should contain loyalty.
It should contain honesty.
It should contain humility.
It should contain responsibility.
Christian men can experience the same friendship difficulties as anyone else.
Work gets busy.
People move.
University ends.
Old friendship routines disappear.
A man may attend church and still find that most relationships never move beyond brief conversation.
If you want stronger Christian friendships, look for recurring environments where you can regularly meet the same people.
Accountability means allowing trusted men to know what you are working on and giving them permission to ask you about it again.
Within a Christian community, accountability should operate with humility and respect.
It should not become an excuse for pride, humiliation or control.
State the commitment honestly.
Take reasonable action.
Report back truthfully.
Learn from what happened.
Encourage other men to do the same.
Discipline matters because many worthwhile things cannot depend entirely on how motivated a man happens to feel that day.
Discipline does not mean living without rest, enjoyment or flexibility.
It means learning to become increasingly dependable in the things you have decided genuinely matter.
Decide what you are actually trying to do instead of relying on vague intentions.
A smaller habit repeated consistently can be more useful than an unrealistic burst of effort.
Understand what is working and what repeatedly causes you to stop.
Learn the difference between a genuine obstacle and an excuse.
Personal development should not become endless self-absorption.
Becoming stronger, more disciplined or more capable should increase a man’s ability to contribute to other people.
Service may involve:
Responsibility means recognising that your decisions affect more than yourself.
The way a man behaves can affect his family, friends, colleagues, church, community and the people who trust him.
Within Black Ace Society, a member also represents his brothers and the standards of the Society.
Keep your word where reasonably possible.
Admit mistakes.
Correct what you can.
Treat people with respect.
Take responsibility for your own growth.
The Society uses Christian prayer and Christian values, but its purpose is not to replace worship, teaching, pastoral care or participation in a local church.
Black Ace Society focuses specifically on recurring male brotherhood, friendship, accountability, personal development and service.
Learn more about Christian men’s groupsBlack Ace Society is designed around recurring local charters rather than one-off events.
The purpose is to bring the same men together consistently enough for meaningful relationships to develop.
Prayer and Christian values form part of the structure.
Men repeatedly meet rather than continually being introduced to strangers.
Members discuss goals and report back on commitments.
Short practical learning sections encourage continued growth.
Brotherhood is expected to contribute something beyond itself.
Black Ace Society is built around real local relationships.
Start with local recurring communities rather than searching only for one-off events.
Depending on what you are looking for, that may include:
